Every trip on this website started as a conversation. None of them was designed in an office and then sold to whoever came along. They are simply the routes people asked for often enough that it made sense to write them down.
If none of them is quite yours, say so. That is the normal case, not the awkward one.
How it works
You write, in your own words
Not a form full of drop-downs. Tell us roughly when you want to come, how many of you there are, and what you are hoping for — whether that is every temple between Cairo and Abu Simbel, or four days doing very little on a boat. If you already know that you hate early starts, or that your mother cannot manage stairs, tell us that too. It changes the plan more than the list of sights does.
We answer with a real itinerary
Usually within one business day, written by a person who has been to these places. Day by day, with hotels named, distances honest, and the awkward bits flagged rather than hidden. If a drive is four hours, it says four hours.
You change it
Almost everyone does. Swap a temple for a market, add a night in Aswan, cut the desert because it sounds too hot. There is no charge for redrafting and no limit on how often.
You decide
Only when the plan is right does anything become binding. Nothing you have read up to that point commits you to anything.
Why there’s no price on this page
Because we would have to make one up.
A ten-day journey for two people in November, staying in small hotels, is a different amount of money from the same route in January for a family of five who want five-star rooms. Egyptian hotel rates move by season more than in almost any country we know. A single figure on this page would be either a fantasy or a number padded high enough to be safe — and you would be paying for that padding.
So we quote after we have understood the trip, not before. The quote is itemised: what the hotels cost, what the guide costs, what the entrance fees cost. You can see where the money goes and take things out if you want to.
This is also why most of our journeys carry no price tag. The few that do are fixed departures where the cost genuinely does not move.
Slower, or differently — always possible. Tell us how you like to travel and we will rebuild the day around it.

And what we are not
We are not the cheapest, and we do not run large coach groups. If your priority is the lowest possible price for the classic circuit, there are operators who do that well and we will happily say so rather than waste your time.
