What helps us answer quickly
You do not need to know any of this before writing. But if you already do, it saves a round of questions:
- When. A rough window is enough. Which months feel like what is set out in our note on when to come.
- How long. Under eight days, something has to be left out if you want Cairo and the Nile. We will tell you honestly what that would be.
- Who is coming. Numbers, and the ages of any children - a good deal follows from that.
- What matters to you. Temples and tombs, quiet on the water, days by the Red Sea, meeting people who live there - or some of each.
- Anything we should plan around. Limited mobility, diet, a dislike of narrow tomb passages. Tell us before you book, not on the day.
What happens next
You get a proposal with the route, what is included and a firm total for your dates. It is not binding and there is no deposit at that stage. Because we are a German operator, a multi-day journey is a package holiday under German law: the statutory information form about your rights as a traveller comes with the offer, the insolvency protection certificate comes with the confirmation, and no payment is due before you hold it. Questions people ask before writing
Do I need to know what I want?
No. Most enquiries start with “two weeks in Egypt in November, that is all we know so far.” That is what the conversation is for.
Will you book single parts of a trip?
Yes. A day trip, a Nile sailing without Cairo, a guide for two days in Luxor - all fine.
How late can we book?
It depends mostly on the boats and the season. Ask, and if it cannot be done we will say so straight away.
Do you arrange the visa?
No - you get it on arrival or online yourself. Everything you need is in our note on Egypt entry requirements.
Which language?
German, English or French. Write in whichever you prefer.
