Overview
Sixteen hours, and we will not pretend otherwise. But it is the only way to stand at Giza and be back at the Red Sea the same night, and for a great many people that trade is worth making.
The day covers the three pyramids and the Sphinx on the plateau, and the Grand Egyptian Museum below it — where Tutankhamun’s complete burial assemblage is shown together for the first time since it was found. If you prefer the older collection or the Islamic city, we build the day differently.
Private car, private guide, no group waiting on you. Flights from Hurghada are possible instead of the road and cut the day almost in half — ask us and we will quote both.
Slower, or differently — always possible. Tell us how you like to travel and we will rebuild the day around it.

The Giza plateau at opening
Arriving early matters more here than anywhere. The three pyramids, the panoramic point where all of them line up, and the Sphinx with the valley temple of Khafre.
Day 3 :
The Grand Egyptian Museum
The full Tutankhamun collection, the hanging obelisk and the grand staircase. Your guide picks a route through it — the building is far too large to see whole.
Day 4 :
Lunch in Cairo
A break at a local restaurant before the return.
Day 5 :
Optional: Khan el-Khalili
If the day is running well, an hour in the old bazaar and a coffee at El Fishawi.
Day 6 :
Return to the Red Sea
The drive back, arriving late at night.
