This morning you fly from Cairo to Luxor, where your Nile home for the next four nights awaits. After settling into your five-star cabin and lunch on board, you visit the vast temple complex of Karnak, a forest of towering columns raised over centuries by successive pharaohs. A short motorboat ride carries you to the island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and rescued stone by stone from the rising waters of the dam. In the afternoon, glide across the river by traditional felucca, sails filled with the breeze, past Elephantine Island and the Aga Khan Mausoleum.
